Why RR-Recruitment
Ruud worked for large recruitment agencies for years and saw firsthand how things often operate. Consultants changing frequently, assignments being passed on to juniors, clients having to re-explain what they're looking for time and again. He wanted to do things differently.
In 2022, Ruud founded RR-Recruitment in Venlo, intentionally as a small-scale recruitment agency to ensure quality and personal contact are maintained. From Venlo, we work for clients in the southeast of the Netherlands, within the triangle of Roermond, Breda, and Arnhem. We are not driven by growth in size, but by the ambition to make the best possible match for every assignment.
After a year, Ruud chose to expand by bringing in former colleague Juul Grubben, someone he had known for many years and completely trusted. Together, they serve the market with the depth and continuity that customers have come to expect from them.
What clients consistently feedback: they appreciate the upfront honesty. RR-Recruitment doesn't blindly accept every assignment. If a profile isn't feasible, they'll say so, and Ruud and Juul will then discuss with the hiring manager to refine the profile and make it realistic. We work on the basis of exclusivity. This means mutual commitment — we'll give our all for your vacancy, and we expect you to give us the space and trust to do that.
RUUD REINHOUD
Ruud began his career at a specialist recruitment agency, where he managed the logistics and supply chain team for nine years. During this period, he worked for dozens of companies in the sector and built up a network that he actively maintains to this day.
To broaden his knowledge, he moved to the corporate side – as a recruiter at Jumbo's head office, specifically for supply chain and the distribution centres. There, he also gained experience with a large-scale recruitment project for the mechanised distribution centre in Nieuwegein. This combination of agency experience and corporate insight means he understands clients' challenges from two perspectives.
In 2022, he started RR-Recruitment, not because he wanted to try something new, but because he knew how it could be done better.
Outside of work, Ruud enjoys spending time on the padel court or the golf course — and as soon as possible, on the ski slopes. He lives with Kristie and has two children, aged 9 and 11.
JUUL GRUBBEN
Juul's roots are in the world of logistics recruitment. After five years of experience at a specialist recruitment agency, he made the move to corporate recruitment, where he gained experience on the client side with companies such as MSD. This background gives him a keen eye for what organisations truly need – not just on paper, but also in practice.
Juul and Ruud had known each other for years when Ruud asked him to join RR-Recruitment. The decision was made quickly. Juul recognised the approach and shared the conviction: you either do recruitment in logistics and supply chain well, or you don't do it at all.
Outside of work, Juul enjoys being around people. Padel and golf are high on his agenda — and he's recently become a proud father to a daughter a few months old.
