Udea may not be the biggest, but it is the greenest and most convivial wholesaler in Veghel and the surrounding area. Udea is a wholesaler of organic foodstuffs, natural toiletries, and sustainable non-food products. They have an organic range of over 9,000 quality products, which they supply to their own store formulas, Ekoplaza, Ekoplaza Foodmarqt, and the Belgian store formulas Farm and Sequoia, as well as to the catering industry and hotels. Through various takeovers and other developments, Udea has grown into a leading player of considerable size and a well-known name in the market in recent years. In addition to its various retail formulas, they have also launched approximately twenty private labels with unique products.

As Fleet Manager, you are responsible for the optimal functioning of the entire fleet, consisting of approximately 32 trucks and 6 buses for deliveries to private individuals. You arrange maintenance, insurance, planning, and administrative processes for the vehicles in the most cost-effective way possible. Furthermore, you manage all necessary permits, taxes, inspections, and certifications relating to the fleet, and your main objective is to keep the entire fleet operational.
You make the difference through your strong organisational skills, foresight, excellent communication and creativity. In this role, you will work closely with the transport coordinator, transport planners, load supervisors and drivers. You will report to the Manager of Transport.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
